The DPP is an extended protection plan covering accidental damage, crashes, hardware failures, and accessories for both consumer and commercial drones. It provides repair and replacement options similar to insurance but without affecting your premiums.
The DPP covers crashes, hardware failures, and accessories but does not cover theft, flyaways, full water submersion, or international incidents (U.S. coverage only).
No, the DPP must be purchased at the same time and on the same invoice as the drone. It cannot be added later.
You can choose a 12-month or 24-month plan, both of which are renewable and transferable.
