The Evolution of the Revolution: 15 Years in the Making

A common question we get at Raptor Dynamic is: "How long have agricultural spraying drones actually been around?" If you look at the headlines, you might think the spray drone industry started in 2019. That was the year a lot of people started noticing the tech, and plenty of businesses were born in that window. But for us, 2019 wasn’t the beginning—it was our ten-year anniversary.

The team behind Raptor Dynamic didn't just join the drone industry; we helped build the foundation it stands on. Our story starts in 2009. Back then, drones weren’t "trending." They weren’t common. And they sure as hell weren’t easy.

From First Responders to the First Spraying Drones

In the early days, HSE (Homeland Surveillance & Electronics) served the people who needed agricultural spraying drones and  cutting-edge tech the most: first responders and government agencies. It was high-stakes work where "good enough" didn't cut it. That era taught us everything we needed to know about reliability, data security, and the future of precision agriculture in a mission-critical environment.

As the industry grew, so did the vision. In 2014, we introduced America to the first spraying drones. It wasn't about a "big marketing moment"—it was about a necessary one. Farmers were looking for better tools to manage their land, and we knew the technology we’d perfected for first responders could be adapted to solve the challenges in the field.

A Decade of Pioneering

Over the next 12 years, we didn't just sell aircraft; we pioneered the accessibility and the regulations that define the drone industry you see today. We’ve been in the rooms where the rules were written and in the fields where years of drone innovation were tested until the tech broke

For us, it’s never been about chasing the newest shiny object. It’s about earning the trust of the dealers, growers, and applicators who rely on this iron to make a living. It’s about getting better every single year—learning, adapting, and serving our people.

The Birth of Raptor Dynamic

In 2025, a giant-sized vision took its final shape. HSE UAV and Pegasus Robotics merged to become Raptor Dynamic.

It’s the same expertise and the same "people-first" philosophy, but with a massive footprint designed to help you succeed. That footprint includes a network of over 60 badass dealer partners from coast to coast. These aren't just names on a map; they are partners who share our commitment to excellence.

The Raptor Standard: Choice and Trust

Because we’ve been around since the start, we know that one size never fits all. Our entire network offers multiple brands so you aren’t stuck with a single option. But there is one rule we never break: If we don’t trust it, we ain’t selling it. We aren't the new kids on the block, and this isn't a "revolution" that might happen someday in the future. It’s a revolution we’ve been building since 2009.

We’ve been here from the start, and we won’t stop until we get it right.
