No Launch Infrastructure

Lifts off vertically on its own two motors and lands back on its tail. No runway, catapult, net or launcher — the aircraft and an operator are the whole system.

Survey-grade positioning

u-blox F9P RTK with matching base station, dual redundant heater-stabilized IMUs and dual magnetometers — accuracy that holds in high heat and sub-freezing air.

Over an hour on station

70–73 minutes with a real payload aboard and 64.6–67.7 miles of still-air range, working out to 21.7 miles and back. Payload barely costs you endurance.

Built to be repaired

PA-12 nylon airframe, Multi Jet Fusion printed, designed to a 7.5 G limit load and tolerant of hard vertical landings and tip-overs. A damaged panel is a reprint, not a rebuild.

The C6 manual specifies the HE103 pack at 1,012 Wh (14,992 mAh, 20.9 lbs). The 30 Ah 18S pack doubles on-board energy to approximately 2,025 Wh for 28.7 lbs — a step from 48.5 to 70.8 Wh/lbs in cell energy density, so the aircraft gains all of the energy for only 7.7 lbs of mass.

A grille-type structure with 700% more dissipation area and combined active and passive cooling holds the pack below 149°F, and rated life is 1,500 cycles at under 7% degradation. Paired with the 9 kW Volt Smart 4.6 charger, charge time is unchanged.
